Below you will find answers to some of the questions that we are asked on a regular basis. If you have a question that is not here, then please feel free to call us to discuss.

What devices do you support?
We support all sorts of technology devices including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, smart phones, smart TV's and automated smarthome devices enabled by Amazon Alexa® and Google Home®.

Do you do house calls?
Yes. In fact that is how we operate for 99% of the time. You can drop equipment off to us for repair if it is more convenient, or there is no other option for you, but we do prefer to visit where possible because that is where other connected equipment such as routers, printers etc will also be located.

How far do you travel?
We travel all over the county (East & West Sussex) but if the journey extends beyond a ten mile radius of our office, there is a travel charge applied per mile for both the outward and return journey. See our pricing page for more details..

Can you provide remote support?
Yes. We provide remote support for many of our customers who live too far away for a house call. It is also a useful method for providing quick follow-up support. Remote support enables us to see and work on your computer as if we were sitting right in front of it. Many issues can be fixed this way although there may be some situations that are not appropriate for remote support.

Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. We have to charge a minimum of one hour in order to cover our time and travel. However, we usually aim to diagnose, if not fix, most issues within an hour or if that is not possible, to at least give you a clear estimate of how long a job is likely to take. How do I pay you?
Payments can be made by cheque, cash or bank transfer. The vast majority of our customers prefer to pay by bank trasfer these days and we encourage that method where possible.

Can you install or fix smart TV's?
Yes and no. We can deal with anything related to general network and Internet connectivity and app download and configuration or general setup, but if the TV is in need of physical repair then that is not within our remit. We do however have access to an extremely reliable and knowledgeable local TV repair business whom we can put you in contact with on request.

Do you sell computers?
No. We have purposely kept clear of selling computers or making our own computers for sale to customers. We generally steer customers to well known and reputable retail outlets for this type of purchase and always recommend the purchase of branded technology. This is for a number of reasons but mainly because we cannot even begin to compete with the pricing of the major retailers and also because the major technology manufacturers have poured millions of pounds into the research and development of their products to ensure best operational quality and performance.

What qualifications do you have?
Our engineers are degree qualified in computer science as well as having over 25 years field experience.
